Webcast Focuses on “Past, Present, and Future” of the Workplace and Individuals with Disabilities

An upcoming webcast presented by Cornell University ILR School focuses on employment and disability, coinciding with the October National Disability Employment Awareness Month. During The Workplace and People with Disabilities: Past, Present and Future webcast, the ILR School website reports that academic, policy, and advocacy experts will share historical perspectives, discuss current initiatives, and the state of employment for individuals with disabilities today.

The webcast is slated for October 29 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm EDT.

The site notes that moderators/hosts include Susanne Bruyère, ILR School Associate Dean of Outreach, director of the Employment Disability Institute, professor of Disabilities Studies, and Lisa Nishii, associate professor of Human Resources and chair of ILR International Programs.
